Welcome to our 2020 #TeamSands London marathon page!

Story

I entered the London marathon for no other reason than to tick something of my bucket list, I was overweight, extremely unfit and unhealthy but was eager for the challenge. That’s when I set up my #MumToMarathon page. I’ve documented my entire journey, my progress, and everything to do with this journey I’m on.

I chose to run for Sands because I believe I am one of the lucky ones, I have 3 beautiful girls and have never experienced the loss of a child. I know how special these tiny humans are and the impact they have on us parents and can’t begin to fathom the pain of losing one at birth, or just before.

I run not only because I want to show my children it’s possible to have a dream, an insane dream at that, and go out and follow it. But to help Sands to help those families who need all the support they deserve.

Please  donate anything you can,  Help me to help Sands support parents who’ve had their worlds ripped apart

Thank you ❤️
