Event: London Marathon 2021, on 3 October 2021
We fund care, campaigning and research to achieve a world free from MND

Story

Back in 2020 while the world entered into a pandemic, my beautiful sister, at the ripe age of 47, was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (you know the one that Stephen Hawkins had). This shook my family to its core and it felt for a while like there was no escape from such sadness.... But my darling sister in her ever so incredibly brave and cool style pulled us back together again.

So I ran the London Marathon virtually on a very wet day in Wales in 2021 and in 2022 I hope to run the distance again in London. I hope to raise money for MNDa. So people like my sister get to fight this life-limiting disease, and give those affected a good life. So that all those diagnosed like my sister who are going through this may have a bit more time to spend with their friends, family and work through their bucket lists.
