Here at Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation, we strive to ensure that people affected by lung cancer get the support they deserve. Events like our Christmas Run make this possible by helping us fund vital awareness promotions, such as our Spot the Difference campaign. This campaign highlights how important it is to be able to recognise the many different symptoms of lung cancer. From the more obvious symptoms such as a persistent cough, breathlessness, chest pain and chest infections, wheezing, hoarseness and coughing up blood to vague symptoms like weight loss and fatigue as well as the more obscure symptoms such as back or shoulder pain, swelling in the face or neck and even clubbing of the fingers.Spot the Difference aims to help all of us, including GPs, to spot potential lung cancer symptoms early and take the necessary steps to get diagnosed as soon as possible.On behalf of our staff, patients, nurses and researchers: THANK YOU!
