I am running the Royal Parks Half Marathon in October to raise money for Mind, in memory of my beautiful niece Laura (pictured).

Laura passed away in July following a long history of living with a mental health disorder. She was a wonderful mother to her daughter, Mia (also pictured), a devoted sister, daughter and aunt, and her death was devastating for the many people who knew and loved her. 

Mind reportedly gave Laura tremendous support and advice over the past few years. It is an excellent and under-appreciated charity, quietly helping hundreds of thousands of people across the UK get the care they need every year.
