Story
This year on the 5th August it is 10 years since Horatio died when a polar bear attacked our camp in Svalbard. As a way to remember him, and to give myself time and space to feel my own grief and trauma, I’m planning to spend the 5th going for a big run on Dartmoor (or a walk). I also want to raise money for the wonderful charity, Horatio’s Garden, that Horatio’s family set up in his memory. The charity builds and maintains beautiful accessible gardens at spinal injury units across the UK. As an incentive to donate, I’m matching donations up to a total of £100. Thank you so much in advance for your support - whether it’s donating or coming with me on a training run xxx
