I'm exceptionally lucky to have 2 amazing and inspirational (kick ass) women in my life to look up to and aspire to be like. They are my gorgeous, glam and amazing Mom and Mother-In-Law.

On Monday 12th June Carol (amazing mother in law) received the devestating  news that following a routine mammogram (thank god for the NHS) she had breast cancer. Hearing this news was absolutely heart breaking, you think the big C word is never going to enter your world, but so frequently it does.

Being part of the awesome Millington family and Carol being a strong kick ass woman, we did what we do best and decided to stand strong together and kick cancers ass. So whilst making magic broth to build Carols immunity, wig shopping, girly days, family days, and fuck cancer parties Carol began treatment at the Queen Elizabeth Breast Cancer Unit in Birmingham.

So far after 3 rounds of chemotherapy Carol has been treated brilliantly by the Breast Cancer Care Unit and they have supported her every step of the way. Talking her through treatment, being on call should she need them and providing more services than you can imagine to support people and their families dealing with Cancer. We are so lucky to live near a world class hospital, but to improve their services they need funds  all the time.

Therefore, am putting on my running shoes again to raise funds for this amazing unit and it would be awesome if you could support me by donating whatever you can.
