I am running my first half marathon this March in memory of my grandfather James Maginnis. James or Jim to his friends was a loving husband, a father of three children and a grandfather. 

He was diagnosed with Alzheimers in his late 50’s, taking him away from us in his early 60’s when he should have been preparing to enjoy retirement with his family. He is greatly missed and I want to do everything I can to support this cause on my grandfathers behalf. 

The Alzheimer’s Society are working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future.
