On the 12th of May this year, our Viv would have been celebrating his 50th Birthday... so, his friends would have sunk a few pints with him at the Don, the office staff from SHC would have gone out for a meal and Niamh and I would have made him a cake and sung Happy Birthday (badly)!!
As we cannot do any of these things to celebrate with him, Niamh and I want to do something positive to mark this year... Viv loved parachuting, so I plan to do a parachute jump. However, much to Niamh's disappointment, she is too young for a parachute jump (!), so she has chosen for us to do the zip wires at Adrenaline Quarry together!!...
As you know we have already raised an amazing amount for Pancreatic Cancer UK, so we will be doing these things to raise money in Viv's memory for Penhaligons Friends, an absolutely amazing charity based in Cornwall who help so many bereaved children.
