Windsor Half Marathon 2012 · 7 October 2012 ·
Most of you will know me as the girl who goes to the gym alot, but it must be said I don't do much running. On a whim I signed myself up to the Windsor half marathon, so that means less Body Pump and more road running to get in shape for that 13 miles in October!
I've chosen to run for the Princess Alice Hospice. The charity has a special place in my heart as thats where my Grandad Roy passed away from Cancer a few years ago. It's a fantastic place with friendly volunteers and a good support system before and after death, as a family we couldn't have asked for anymore. I'm running to make sure the level of care and comfort remains for every family who needs their services.
I've set a target of £500 as in my previous 5K races I somehow managed £250 but this is about 4x the challenge so please support this brilliant cause and give what you can. Donating through JustGiving is secure, your personal details will remain safely guarded and you won't be filled with e-mails. The money you donate will be sent directly to the charity and you even have the option to add GiftAid if you're a UK Taxpayer.
Thankyou for your time and support.
