I am running the London Marathon for Disability Rights UK because I share their core value that everyone should have equal opportunities, and equal rights so no one has to live in poverty. I also believe that society will be stronger once we achieve this, and this is only possible by working together. 

As a teacher, I have experience teaching students with a wide range of disabilities and it angers me that they may not have access to certain opportunities later in life. Disability Rights UK is a key agent in the mission to ensure everyone can participate fully in society and I am honoured to run for a charity which is fighting for the rights of disabled people.
