As many of you know, I lost my Mum and best friend suddenly last year.  My mum had two passions; family and animals. Idlewild Animal Sanctuary has been a huge help to our family since they adopted our 'adopted cockerel, Colin, after my Mum passed away. Idlewild was one of my Mum's chosen charities and is very close to my heart.

At the end of this month I will take on the challenge of swimming 22 miles (distance across English Channel) within a month, in memory of my beautiful and wonderful Mum.
