On Tuesday 24th August my amazing Grandad went to sleep for the last time.

Anyone that knows me, knows how important my Grandad was to me. He was my everything & Fahren’s best friend and biggest protector.

We’ve been left with a whole in our family that will never be filled. He was one of the kindest and loveliest men you would ever meet. No matter what was going on in his life he always had a smile for everyone and made everyone feel special and welcome. I don’t know how we are going to go on without him. There are just no words to explain how we all feel.

We’ve kept this quiet as we were trying to come to terms with his illness and now loss as a family and as you can imagine it’s been a very difficult time. I’m sorry if this has come as a shock to some of you, and I’m sorry if I haven’t replied to your messages or calls. It’s been a hard few weeks.

We have had lots of love and support from everyone and so many of you are wanting to send flowers. We as a family have decided to support the Bowel cancer UK charity instead, if you would like to donate please use this page.
