Skydive · 6 April 2019
My name is Becca and it's my privilege to work for the North East Autism Society. Every day we devote our time to making sure the sky's the limit for children and young people from across the region, opening doors of opportunity and helping families find lifeline support.
With so many challenges ahead of them on a daily basis it's only right that in raising funds to provide even more amazing services we do something equally HUGE.
So as part of Autism Acceptance Week April 1-7 2019 I'm taking the plunge and skydiving to rack up funds for NEAS.
More info about NEAS
As the region’s leading provider of services and support for children, young people and adults with autism or other examples of neurodiversity, part of our role is shaping the narrative on how people view and understand autism.
Previously, in line with our own corporate colours, we’ve asked local authorities, businesses, schools and key locations to illuminate their buildings / landmarks in blue for autism awareness but this year we’d love you to partner with us in Going for Gold.
It's about acceptance - not just awareness.
It's about celebration - not just tolerance.
It's about changing lives - and together we can make a difference.
