Story
Every year, approximately 2,000 people in the UK lose their lives to mouth cancer. Not many people know about this cancer, something that the Oral Health Foundation is trying to change through its Mouth Cancer Action Month, which is held every November.
As dental professionals, my parents have encountered the effects that this terrible disease can have on patients and their loved ones.
Greater awareness of this dreadful disease will ensure that people attend regular dental check-ups, and that cases can be detected earlier.
Please join me in supporting the excellent work that the Oral Health Foundation does to promote dental education and to reduce the numbers of lives lost every year.
