COVID-19: Ensuring the stability of Sands' future work for bereaved parents, their families, and anyone affected by baby loss.

Story

In March we suffered a miscarriage. It was a horrible experience. We also never expected it to happen to us. Tragically we have learnt that 1 in 4 pregnancies end in miscarriage. We needed a challenge and so have decided to take part in the South West Coast 50k Ultra Challenge.

We want to help Sands who support so many bereaved families in their darkest of days. Sands help families across the UK and those affected by the death of a baby. Their own staff and volunteers, many of whom are bereaved parents themselves, are working tirelessly to provide support and do whatever they can to help alleviate some of the anxiety. I am joining the fight and doing my bit to help Sands to function, but I need your help.
