In 2011 I was lucky enough to spend 3 months volunteering in Zambia and since then I have got the bug for Africa! Since returning to England I feel I want to continue helping people in Africa who have so little compared to us.

So I decided to really challenge myself with two challenges. The first is to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania whilst raising money for a fantastic charity doing lots of good work throughout Africa. Please visit their website to find out more: http://www.cpafrica.org.uk/

The money I raise will go towards Komamboga Children's Home. This is a family home on the outskirts of Kampala (capital city of Uganda) for children who have been orphaned, abandoned or physically abused.

CPA also have projects in Ethiopia, West Africa and Malawi.

The trek up Mount Kilimanjaro will take 7 days as we need to avoid altitude sickness.
