Story

On Saturday 23rd January at 4.40am, our baby boy Thomas James Mashari was born sleeping, weighing just 760grams. Despite having a healthy, uncomplicated and easy pregnancy our baby’s heart suddenly stopped beating and he sadly passed away sometime during the 28th week.

We were given a beautiful memory box from SANDS, which included lots of keepsakes and the crochet blanket he was wrapped in, which has been a massive comfort to us.

Throughout March I will be walking/jogging 50 miles for Sands to show my support for families who've also lost a baby. Thomas’s memory box is my most precious possession and has brought me so much comfort and I want other families to have the help and support that they deserve while they go through this heartbreaking time.
