I'm running the 2021 Great North Run for Prostate Cancer UK.

This year I am taking a huge leap out of my comfort zone and running the GNR in memory of my amazing Father-in-Law John Meehan. As many of you know John lost his fight on 23rd May 2019. Leaving behind the most amazing family and fantastic memories! He truly was the best father-in-law I could have asked for. He lived with prostrate cancer for 5 years. He never moaned or grumbled throughout his illness. So not only do I want to raise money, but raise awareness to what is fast becoming the most common cancer in the UK.
