A select group of FHSU students will travel to Japan for an immersive experience in the Japanese economy and business culture. The trip is led by Dr. Emily Breit, Professor of Finance, and Dr. Sam Schreyer, Professor of Economics, with the goal of providing a unique, hands-on opportunity for FHSU students interested in international business and economics. Students will study the Japanese economy and business practices in advance of the trip. The trip consist of approximately 10 days in Japan visiting with business leaders and touring institutions such as the Tokyo Stock Exchange. Students have been selected through a competitive application process for this experience. They are from Kansas and for the most, it will be their first trip abroad. This international experience will expand the students' horizons, teaching them about international aspects of business, and encouraging them to dream big and be World Ready.
