Hello,

I have been accepted into an incredible opportunity to make a real difference by working with VSO for 3 months in Ekwendeni, Malawi and will be departing on the 21st of January 2018!!

The overall goal of the project is "Improved Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) Outcomes among young people aged 15-25)" Working to prevent spread of HIV/AIDS, unplanned or early pregnancies. Also raising awareness of Rights, Choices and motivation for young communities to take charge of their life paths.

VSO ICS is worlds leading independent international development organisation that works through volunteers to fight poverty in developing countries. 

VSO ICS is a once in a lifetime volunteering opportunity backed by the UK Government. The programme and my place on the programme has been fully funded by DFID (Department for International Development) who run ICS.  (http://www.ics-uk.org.uk/about/)

However, as part of my participation i am required to fund-raise a minimum of £800 prior to my departure in January. - This allows me to develop new skills and confidence prior to my trip and continues this wonderful opportunity for other people.

I would be very grateful for any donations towards my trip to Malawi, i will also be organising and hosting some fun and exciting events to bring my local community together.
