We offer local care and support to those affected by life-limiting illness

Story

When family or friends have the anguish of dealing with a life limiting illness it's reassuring to know there is support from organisations such as Forest Holme hospice. Having seen how they helped close friends and their family during a heart breaking time I decided I'd like to support the hospice to help them continue their amazing work.

So at 7pm on 3rd November 2017, I'll be taking part in a 135 mile foot race through Wales. I've got 72 hours to navigate my way along the full length of Glyndwr's Way National Trail.

This will be the toughest challenge I have ever undertaken and although daunting I'll be spurred on knowing I'm helping a great cause that is close to so many people's hearts.

I'll be updating my Facebook page https://facebook.com/rungrantosrun with my training progress. The challenge is not just the event but the hours I'll be committing to get me in the best possible shape ahead of November.
