Recycles Booth House takes on Ride 100

My Prudential RideLondon 2020 · 16 August 2020 ·
We know now is a difficult time and money can be tight, but
for Recycles Booth House, we need your support now more than ever.
We are a social enterprise bike shop supported by The
Salvation Army. All our mechanics are fully Cytech trained with more than 35 years’
experience between them. We can’t believe that next year we will celebrate our
10th birthday here on Princess Street.
Our goal is to support those who are experiencing
homelessness. We offer a safe place to work,
opportunities to move onto independent living & full time work or
volunteering. Since opening in 2011 we have helped over 600 people back into
long term employment or independent living. We have seen over 900 residents
take part in training opportunities, which is with thanks to those who have
donated and supported us over the years.
£45 can provide 1 hour support work for 5 people experiencing
homelessness within Recycles Booth House.
£100 can provide qualified first aid & health and safety
training for one of our residents.
£250 can provide Cytech level 1 training for one of our
residents.
We aim to raise £15,000 from this event. This will enable us
to continue supporting those who need us the most.
The Salvation Army is committed to helping vulnerable people everywhere, and empowering those in need to rebuild their lives.Together we can help transform lives!
