I'm taking part in RED January for Mind Uk to raise awareness for mental health, and to understand the affect physical activities have on our mental health.
I have suffered with depression and anxiety for many years, so this is something that really has my heart. Finding new ways to manage my mental health is always in my interest so, walking/running my way to happiness seems like something that could really help. Many people tell me how being active has been more effective for them than taking anti-depressant which is a massive push for me to see if being active can in fact make you happier. I'm going to be monitoring my mood to see just how being active can improve it.
