Campaign by Sport in Mind (RCN 1161323)
RED January empowers people to support their mental health with physical activity, in partnership with Sport in Mind, the UK's mental health and sports charity.

Story

This January, the RED community will be challenging themselves to get active every day. Whether running, swimming, cycling or choosing a favourite fitness activity, REDers will be going the extra mile to support themselves and others.Their fitness and fundraising efforts combined with your generosity will help Sport in Mind reach and empower people to experience the life-changing benefits of physical activity.

As a single mother of three children, one of whom is on the autistic spectrum, as well as being a full time hard working mum. I understand the challenges that people face whether dealing with anxiety, depression or other mental health illness. I have also recently completed a mental health first aid course, through my employer. covid-19 has impacted us all and there is never a better time than to challenge myself to RED January, raising funds, however small, that will support the effort in continuing to help others by inspiring them towards realising there is always hope in the face of adversity. Thank you all who read this and who decide to donate
