Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

This year marks the 75th Anniversary of the Firefighter charity and in honour of this Red watch at Peterhead fire station have set themselves the challenge to trek 75 miles from Peterhead to Dyce and back along the disused Banff and Buchan Railway line. The journey will take and estimated time of 34 hours and will take place over 2 days , 7th and 8th of November 2018.

The six Watch members , Watch Manager Robbie Sturrock, Crew manager Gary Collins and Firefighters Malcolm Cooper , James Simpson , Stuart McLelland  and Dean Peacock who have a combined experience of over 100 years have elected to conquer the challenge wearing full fire gear and hope to raise £5000 for the charity.

We would be delighted if you could show your support to the local Firefighters with a donation to the charity. Every pound we raise will help to support Fire and Rescue personnel both present and retired members recovering from illness, injury and psychological trauma. We would like to thank you in advance for your generosity.
