The REDBOX team are being shipped off to a remote island off the coast of Wales for 48 hours, during this time we will be completing a series of challenges testing us physically and mentally.

We will need to build our own shelter and fire for warmth, design weapons we can use to fend off creatures of the night, and learn how to navigate the rugged terrain of Survival Island. Each challenge will earn us Survival Bullion. The team with the most Bullion will be the winner.

Aided by ex-Royal Marine Commandos and survival instructors, we will need to master starting fires and building shelters before the darkness closes in. Concentration, courage and a can-do attitude are a must!

It’s fair to say at times in life, things happen that make you realise how lucky you really are. When the charity visited our head office in Sunbury, it was certainly one of those occasions.

We were all incredibly touched by the work Helen & Douglas house provides to the terminally ill children and their families and we immediately wanted to support in any way possible. They need £3 million a year to provide their expert care and 88% of this comes from public donations.
