Story

Four years ago, we opened the nightshelter at Ilford Salvation Army with the support of a number of other churches and community groups.  Since then, hundreds of people have come through the centre and many have moved on into better situations.

Last winter, for example, we had 61 guests.  By God's grace, 30 moved into either accommodation, rehab, or returned voluntarily to their country of origin.

All of this has only been possible because of the generosity of people's time and resources to make it possible for the shelter to open.  If you are able, please make a contribution towards our fundraising target!!
