Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit  our page, we are Redbridge Samaritans Branch.

Samaritans vision is that fewer people die by suicide.

We work to achieve this vision by making it our mission to
alleviate emotional distress and reduce the incidence of suicide feelings and suicidal behaviour.
We do this by:
•    Being available, 24 hours a day to provide emotional support for people who are struggling to cope, including those who have had thoughts of suicide
•    Reaching out to high risk groups and communities to reduce the risk of suicide
•    Working in partnership with other organisations, agencies and experts
•    Influencing public policy and raising awareness of the challenges of reducing suicide.

The funds that you kindly donate will all contribute towards the running of Redbridge Samaritans, enabling us to respond to calls for those in need. It costs £20,000 per annum to Run our branch, this equates to around £50 per day.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
