Event: Starlight Stroll 2020, on 12 September 2020
In memory of Christina Morton
Join us on the 12th of September for a very special Starlight Stroll. Walk along the beautiful Eastbourne Seafront and lay a special lantern at the Italian Gardens in memory of a loved one who is no longer with us.

Story

This year we are walking the Starlight Stroll for St Wilfrids Hospice in memory of our amazing Mum. It is nearly exactly a year since our Mum died of cancer, following incredibly dedicated care by the hospice team, who made her feel comfortable in her final months. Please give what you can to support this incredible service which supports individuals - and their families - at the end of life.

St Wilfrids provide specialist care for people with any progressive, advanced life-limiting illness. Referrals are made by the patient's GP or other healthcare professionals and care is delivered by a team that includes consultants in palliative medicine, specialist nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, counsellors and social workers. They want to see a community where people talk openly about dying, live well until the end of their life and where nobody dies alone, afraid or in pain.
