Story

THE BIG GOLF RACE AT CARDEN PARK

Prostate cancer is now the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the UK killing one man every 45 minutes in the UK alone. That’s 6 people in the time it takes to play just one round of golf, every day, 24 hours a day 365 days a year!!

That’s why we are taking on the Big Golf Race in aid of Prostate Cancer UK to keep men in the game longer. The money raised will help fund research into life-saving treatments and provide practical support to sufferers and their families.

12 of us ranging in age from 25 -85 years young will be playing 36 holes of golf at Carden Park, non-stop, on 15th May 2021, wearing our funkiest outfits and bringing our best game. This is the equivalent of a half marathon each. One of us recently needed the support of this great organisation and we all know at last one person who has benefitted from the great work they do. Please support us as best you can – and a big thanks to Carden Park for providing the facilities for our fund-raising.
