Joe and Graeme’s RED January
The Deputy Chief Graeme Binning and myself are taking part in RED (Run Every Day) January.
Our aim is simple:-
As two active supporters of mental health, we are raising awareness and encouraging everyone to reach out, talk and look after each other. Supporting each other through tough times is more important now, than ever before.
We are hoping by the end of January lots of friends, colleagues and strangers get motivated, get active and get connected. More importantly, we hope we raise the awareness of the importance of exercise and the links to good physical and mental health.
That’s what it’s about YOU, not us. Go on make a start, go for a walk, go for a run or just simply phone a friend for a catch up.
January is the perfect month for the initiative, providing an opportunity to kick-start the year in a positive way. It’s a time when many of us are setting new goals, but are low on funds and motivation, with less social occasions to keep us connected. RED is an empowering colour for dark times, that could inspire those taking part to ‘move every day, to beat the winter blues away.
Your health is your wealth :-)
If you can, sponsor us please. Every little helps.
Thank you Joe and Graeme
