Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am not a runner, not one bit. When it comes to exercise, I rarely do it any more but when I do I swim or dance, but NEVER run. I find walking hard work most of the time.

I have decided to take part in R.E.D January for a number of reasons;

1. I want to look after my physical health and do this by setting myself new challenges, running being one of them.
2. I want to look after my mental wellbeing and it has been proven that keeping active is a great way to do this.
3. As I work for Solent Mind, I can think of no better organisation to raise money for than for this one.
4. This year, myself and fellow members of Italk/Solent Mind lost a wonderful friend, colleague and human being. Ian was one of the most dedicated, genuine and caring people I have had the pleasure of meeting and went above and beyond to help those in need. So this is also in memory of him.

I'm aware that Christmas and New Years bring around financial problems for all, but anything you can donate will be wonderfully appreciated.

This is going to be a huge challenge for me, but I hope to prove to myself and others that I have what it takes to do it.
