Help for Heroes

We support the wounded, injured and sick to live independent and fulfilling lives.

Charity Registration No. 1120920 (England & Wales) and SC044984 (Scotland)

Story

Okay so I have been lucky enough to get a place for this year’s Flora London Marathon.

My mission is simple enough, lose 28 lbs and gain £1,000.   Your donations will benefit “Help for Heroes,” a fine charity, for those not familiar with it an explanation is outlined below.

I could really do with some quality “tunes” to keep motivated whilst running so any ideas gratefully received.

As you can see from the picture I am happy to run in Fancy Dress if any Corporate Sponsors fancy making an offer!

I really appreciate you taking the time to visit my webpage and hopefully part with some hard earned cash!   Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally  secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Help for Heroes will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Thanks for your time and Money

What is Help for Heroes all about? It’s about the blokes. It’s about Derri, a rugby player who has lost both his legs, it’s about Carl whose jaw is wired up so he has been drinking through a straw. It’s about Richard who was handed a mobile phone  as he lay on the stretcher so he could say goodbye to his wife. It is about Ben, Stephen, Andy and Mark and it’s about them all. They are just blokes but they are our blokes; they are our heroes. We want to help our heroes.”

HELP for HEROES, the new charity formed to support our wounded servicemen and women was launched on 1st October 2007 and needs your urgent help.
