Story
SATURDAY 5TH SEPTEMBER - 11AM TIL 5PM @ SUNNYSIDE FARM, BUTTER HILL BANK, SANDON, ST18 0DT - PLEASE COME!!!!
My Name is Reece Marshall and I am 13 years old. In January this year
I was diagnosed Osteosarcoma (Bone cancer). I have had loads of Chemo and
recently an operation where my knee and Fima bone were replaced, a few weeks after I was diagnosed I found out that I had been scouted by the Leicester Tigers, this was a real blow to me as I love playing rugby and this was an opportunity that I have missed out on because of my illness.
I am being treated at both the North Staffs and Birmingham Childrens Hospitals
and whilst there the Teenage Cancer trust has helped to make my life much
better. The TCT are totally reliant on donations, this is why I am holding a
fund raising event and would like everyone to come. The event is free
admission and there will be lots happening to raise money, a day full of family
fun and games.
For anyone who cannot make it to the event or who is unable to donate anything towards the actual day we have set up this page for you to donate money all of which will go towards my end raised total - I aim to raise £20,000 in total for teenage cancer trust.
The Teenage
Cancer Trust Registered Charity number is: 1062559.
Hope to see you all soon at my fundraising event 😄
This page will be updated regularly so please keep you eye on it!! 😄
