This year, I will be taking part in a charity skydive on Friday 30^th August 2019 in Bridlington, East Yorkshire.

I am diving and raising money in memory of my late father Sucha Singh who sadly lost his battle with blood cancer at the age of 56 on 10^th May 2019. He was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia (CLL) in 2012 and went into remission for several years. In July 2018 he was diagnosed with high grade non-Hodgkin lymphoma which turned aggressive extremely quickly. We were told he only had 2 months to live, however he lived for 10 months undergoing 8 rounds of 3 different types of treatments.

My father was a very loved and popular man in not only the Sikh circle but in the community, where he ran his business for 40 years. My father was a big character and touched the hearts of many wherever he went and always put others before him. He was a strong fighter and was determined to take on any treatment/clinical trail available.

Over 1 in 3 people will be affected by cancer at some point in their lives and I want to raise awareness and money so hopefully one day, we can cure cancer once and for all.

100% of donations go directly to Cancer Research UK in preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. The cost of the skydive is a personal contribution.
