During our time volunteering at Katsikas, the one request we heard by most refugees was not to forget them. As we were trying to brainstorm ideas, we heard from Paul and John (founders of Refugee Support Europe) that they were thinking of a US tour. We took the opportunity to host them in New York and Minneapolis to raise awareness about the current circumstances of refugees in Greece and Bangladesh, opportunities to volunteer, and other ways to help. 

As part of these efforts, and with your help, we wanted to support the refugees by raising enough funds to sponsor one week's worth of camp operations. 100 percent of donations will go toward purchasing food and aid for the refugees in camps Refugee Support Europe operates in.

Fatima was so inspired by the experience that she recruited Matthew to join her for another volunteer trip to Greece in October. They will be volunteering in the Katsikas camp for two weeks in late-October and are very excited to help support this important cause.
