Saturday 19th Jan our young people are walking from roehampton to Box Hill.   30 Km walk to raise £30K

Please help us to raise the money for our team of 25 young people  from our estates to go and do building work, help at a feeding project and childrens home and experience a life changing trip serving others.

In February 2013 a large group of young people from estates in Roehampton along with a few young people from Hackney, Leatherhead and two young people from the Romania gypsy village we work in, are going on a life changing mission trip to Kenya.  We are going to support projects working with street children in Nakuru and a project that is creating employment for young people over there.

These trips have had amazing and incredible life changing impacts on young people from the Roehampton estates as well as for the kids in kenya.  Young people that we have taken in the past have ended up setting up their own projects and have turned from lives involving negative and criminal patterns of behaviour to being inspirational leaders both here and in other countries.

The next group of young people coming from the estate on this trip are some of the young people who are part of our mentoring programs. This is an opportunity for them to serve others in a way which will completly change their own lives. 

On the 19th january, we are going to walk with the young people coming on the trip the 30km walk from Roehampton to Box Hill in Surrey.

The cost of the trip to kenya and the project work we will be helping with in Nakuru is £30 000.  We have a team of 25 people and have allready raised £19,000 and are hoping that through the  generosity of friends and supporters we will be able to raise the full amount.
