Regnerate Rise 10K Sponsored Walk - Putney Town Bowls Club · 4 June 2016

Regenerate-RISE is reaching the isolated elderly in SW15 and across the borough of Wandsworth. We are currently providing support services during the Covid-19 crisis to over 500 older people. We believe in celebrating life, fulfilling dreams and giving older people a reason to live.

Story

Participants: Jennie Huggins, John Kelly, Kerie Woolcott, Lisa Bogg, Amy Lennox, Julie Bogg, Alison Capocciama, Helen Whatley, Jodie Woolcott, Diane Beale, Gary Beale, Charlotte Beale, Bridgette Roberts, Ray Smith, Michael Keeping, Simon Smith, Jackie Mclaughlen,  Gwynneth Jenkins, Scott Woolcott, Julie Woolcott - more to follow....

The Platt has been established since 1807 when 7 friends raised money towards building the Platt Chapel in Putney, opening in 1808.

Regenerate-RISE host a lunch club at the Platt Centre for the elderly everyday.  This provides those who attend with Friendship, Companionship, Social Interaction, Outings and much joy and laughter.  Remember, RISE means Reaching the ISOLATED Elderly....

Why are we raising money?  Regenerate-RISE use a bus to transport the ISOLATED Elderly and this will not be available to them in the near future.   So, we're doing some thing about it!

A very special person to us attends the club everyday and it has bought her so much happiness in the last few years that for her and her beautiful friends, this service needs to continue.

See you on the 04.06.2016 @ 2.00pm at the Putney Town Bowls Club
