Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
On Febuary 24th 2008 Graham Rigby, my Dad, was diagnosed with a brain tumour. It was big, aggressive, and there was nothing that could be done. Dad died on 3rd May 2008. Brain Tumour UK are working to understand this most aggressive and destructive of cancers so that what happened to Dad is less likely to happen to somebody else, and to give support and advice to people who do find themselves in that position.
In memory of my Dad, I'm running the London Marathon to raise money to help them with that work, and I'm asking you to help me by sponsoring me for whatever you can - however little. I've set my target at £1000 for now, but I'd like to think of that as a target to beat, not to meet.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Brain Tumour UK gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
