Story
I would like to ask friends to open your hearts, and wallets to a very worthy cause. I am running a 10k on September the 7th in support of my friends Glover and Lucy Bailie to raise money for the Neuroblastoma Society.
Glover lost his 5 year old niece, Gabriella, to Neuroblastoma, a very rare childhood cancer, 15 years ago. Him and his wife Lucy have in recent years made much effort to raise awareness of this disease, and funds for the Neuroblastoma Society by organising annual 10k runs for their friends to participate in and donate to, in aid of research into neuroblastoma and support for families affected.
More recently Glover and Lucy have shared the loss of Rory, the 3 year old son of their close friends, in May this year. This has intensified the need to raise as much money this year as possible to enable further research into this disease. I, like many of their other friends would like to get behind them and help raise as much as I can this year, so your sponsorship donation of whatever amount, large or small, will be very much appreciated.
Donating through JustGiving is totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity.
If you are a UK taxpayer please select the 'Gift Aid' option. The government gives any tax you've paid, on an amount you donate to charity, to this charity so that way the Neuroblastoma Society will benefit further. This does not cost you any more, the additional amount will come directly from the government. If you are not a UK taxpayer or donating from outside the UK, do not select this option.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and thank you in advance for any donations! I am lacing up my running shoes for training now to make sure all your donations will be well earnt!
