The outdoor stage has been an integral part of children’s performing space at Michael Hall.
With covid, this space has become even more relevant to Michael Hall’s curriculum. The audience area of the terrace needs the old stones re- levelling so the space can be flat and safe for audiences.
We have a plan to carry this work out - but we need money for materials and specialist labour.
If every family donated £15 per child or more if possible, we would have enough money to get this work done in the Easter holiday, which, covid allowing, would mean performances would become possible this summer.
All the children at the school have missed out on their drama curriculum this year, but none more so than the current classes 8 and 12.
With no way to predict the impact of covid on the next few months and the future academic year, wouldn’t it be wonderful for the school to be able to use this space again?
