This is all about our effort to save the GORILLAS...
The world population of the Endangered eastern lowland gorilla (Gorilla beringei graueri), found almost exclusively in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), has plummeted by more than 70 percent in the past decade. Scientists estimate that fewer than 5,000 individuals remain, down sharply from 17,000 in 1994.
With the plummeting gorilla population over the years, much has to be done to help save them. Funding will provide much-needed resources for habitat protection and community-based conservation projects.
So join me and the rest of the participants in the Great Gorilla Run on the 19th of September. Please sponsor me now and help save the Gorillas on the verge of extinction.
