Remedi are a charity providing RESTORATIVE JUSTICE, MENTORING and wider SUPPORT services across the UK for the benefit of victims, offenders and the wider community. We work across all tiers of the adult and youth criminal justice systems and in multiple schools and colleges

Story

The Remedi West Midlands Hate Crime Victim Service was launched in July 2021. The service supports victims and witnesses of all Hate Crimes and Hate Incidents. We provide short term and long term emotional and practical support, working with the victim to meet their needs to enable them to cope and recover from the offence.

To raise money and awareness of the service, on September 3rd, Parriss, Sam, Michelle, Dilnura and Vicky will be walking the 30 mile canal path from Birmingham to Worcester. We will be doing this in one day. We will be taking it in turns over the 30 miles to blind-fold each other and guide each other along the path.

The money raised will be spent on personal security items such as personal attack alarms and dummy CCTV to ensure victims feel safe in and out their homes.

Any donations that remains after this will be shared amongst other Remedi Hate Crime Services.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. We appreciate any donation or any share of this page.

Wish us luck!
