Story
My wonderful mother fought bravely for almost two years with a grade IV glioblastoma, a form of brain tumour. Sadly, on Sunday 13th August she passed away peacefully with her family at her side.
In keeping with her strong and pragmatic character, mum did not want a big funeral, she didn't want flowers or people dressed in black to mourn her. Instead, she asked that people take the money they would have spent and give it to NEPAC. North East Promenaders Against Cancer do wonderful work in and around the North East of England, putting on music events and giving large sums of their donations to cancer research labs so that they can carry on their research. We'd appreciate your donation, whatever you want to give.
