After having to withdraw from last years Marathon due to injury, I am so pleased to have the opportunity to run again next year. After 6 months of physio I am ready and back with a vengeance. 

I am running on behalf of the Meningitis Research Foundation, their commitment and dedication to the education, prevention and cure of Meningitis suddenly became everything to me when my Nephew Kieran passed away as a result of the disease on 16th February 2013.

Kieran was the most beautiful boy with the most amazing personality, he brought joy to the lives of everyone who was lucky enough to have known him.

This marathon is a tribute to Kieran and I will run every mile with a smile on my face in his remembrance.

All donations will be greatly appreciated and no donation is too small.
