Remembering Gareth - A one in a million friend

Gareth was an amazing and caring friend to so many people. He was funny, witty, enthusiastic, understanding and an all round incredible chap. His decision to take his own life was a shock to many of us, even though we knew he had been struggling with depression. It showed us that you never truly know what is going on in a person's mind and that everyone needs to have access to the right support in order to work through life's challenges and difficult experiences.
So on the anniversary of losing Gareth we'd like to raise some funds on behalf of Mind, a charity that is dedicated to supporting people suffering from mental health conditions and challenges. It's such an important cause and anyone who has lost someone in similar circumstances will know just how critical it is for our friends and family to have access to a friendly and impartial voice that can help to bare the load.
The target on this page is arbitrary as there isn't really a target. We just want to raise whatever we can to try and help others who are silently suffering from a mental health condition.
