REMEMBERING JANET - STAPLES FAMILY WALK
At 11.20am on the 15th June 2002 we said goodbye to mum - Janet Staples - forever. She was just 64 years old and had been diagnosed with terminal liver cancer just 6 weeks before. She left us way too soon and we were all devastated.
This year it will be 10 years since we lost her - but we are determined to celebrate her life and make it a positive occasion.
So on 16th June, the Staples Family (+ a couple of Pococks) will be taking part in the St Anne's Midnight Walk. Dad, Catherine, Tris and I will be walking 10K around Manchester City Centre.
Mum actually died in a hospice in Peterborough - but plenty of other people's mums have been helped by St Annes, and had I had a different outcome when I was ill, they would have been there to help me too.
Please sponsor us (The Staples / Pococks) as remember mum and celebrate her life.
Thank you x
