Michael himself requested that any money donated in his name would go to Kids Club Kampala, a charity supporting vulnerable children in Uganda. 

Michael held the needs of Africa and of children very close to his heart, and had a personal interest in this charity as it was set up by two young girls from Sutton Coldfield.
