Remembering Roy

Beth Deacon-Bates is raising money for East Anglia's Children's Hospices
In memory of Roy Thomas Deacon-Bates
Donations cannot currently be made to this page
We care for children & young people with life-threatening conditions across Cambs, Essex, Norfolk & Suffolk and support their families. This can be at home, in hospital or at one of three hospices at Milton, The Treehouse and The Nook. We rely on voluntary donations for the majority of our income.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit Roy's JustGiving page.

Roy Thomas Deacon-Bates was born on 29th June 2019 and died on the 4th July 2019 due to Sepsis. He gave us 5 precious days with him and in those few days we had with him he really made such a huge impact on our lives.

During those 5 days we had support from East Anglia's Children Hospice with counselling and memory making.

But their support has not ended with Roy's death.

After Roy died, EACH provided us with refuge at their Treehouse Hospice where we could celebrate Roy's big brother's 2nd birthday with the supported we needed as a family.

They are continuing to provide us with support and memorial events to help us remember our baby boy, Roy.

We are fund raising for EACH to help them to continue providing a much needed and appreciated support service.
