Mark Beaumont's Highland Line Challenge · 6 June 2013

The STV Children's Appeal is campaigning to raise awareness and funds to tackle the serious issue of child poverty in Scotland. Every penny donated goes directly to helping the most vulnerable children in Scotland. Our privacy policy - http://ow.ly/1tPZ30kb0Hp

Story

On 1 June, Scottish cyclist and adventurer Mark Beaumont will embark on one of the biggest challenges of his life as he sets out to travel the Highland Boundary Fault Line, from Arran to Aberdeen, by foot and in the water to raise funds for children and young people in Scotland affected by poverty.

Hoping to complete the task in only 10 days, Mark will cross the open sea three times, including a never-done-before six mile swim from Arran to Isle of Bute, and cross Loch Lomond.

A team of runners from STV are joining him to run 15k of the Rob Roy Way and would really appreciate your support. So please dig deep and help us raise as much money as possible for the STV Appeal.
